A Coverlet is closely related to a bedspread, except that a coverlet does not have a pillow-tuck, and drops over the sides of the bed only a few inches below the top of your box spring, enabling you to make full use of an attractive bed skirt.

A comforter is essentially the same in size, except that it is reversible, and usually made from washable fabric. Because of the lack of a pillow tuck, both the coverlet and the comforter are traditionally used in conjunction with pillow shams, which should be purchased simultaneously to ensure that we have the fabric in stock.
